Step 1
You Enroll Before Storm Season
You choose a membership tier, pay the $199 enrollment fee plus your annual subscription, and sign your membership agreement. Your address is logged in our fleet management system. A generator unit is reserved in your name for the coverage year. You are now in the activation stack — ahead of anyone who didn’t plan ahead.
Step 2
An Outage Event Is Declared
When a significant grid disruption occurs in our service area, RRG declares an activation event. This is not triggered by individual calls — it’s a fleet-wide dispatch decision made by our operations team based on the scope and expected duration of the outage.
Step 3
You Receive an Activation Notification
When an event is declared, you’ll receive a notification by SMS and email. The notification confirms that deployment has begun, provides your estimated delivery window based on your tier, and gives you any instructions you need to prepare for delivery.
You do not need to call us. You do not need to submit a request. You are already in the system.
Step 4
We Deliver and Connect
Our crew delivers and sets up your generator at your property. We connect directly to your panel through the installed transfer switch – whole-home power with no extension cords. We handle fuel at delivery.
Step 5
You Stay Powered Through the Outage
Your included runtime covers your tier’s standard outage duration. If your outage extends beyond your included runtime, fuel resupply and extended runtime are available at posted overage rates — no surprises, no gouging.
Step 6
We Retrieve the Equipment
When grid power is restored, we schedule retrieval. You don’t haul it, store it, or maintain it. The unit goes back to our fleet — maintained, tested, and ready for the next event. Your membership continues through your anniversary date.
What Happens If Everyone Activates at Once?
For events where demand starts to meet capacity, the priority stack
determines the dispatch order: Medical first, then Priority, then Base. That’s why your tier choice
matters – it’s not a cosmetic upgrade. It’s your position in line.
